Hello Everyone,
Here is the farm Mandaley where Nompumelelo and her Mum buy fresh milk to make the cottage cheese that they sell afterwards at the market.
The white farmer built a primary and high school for his employees, and they live within the 200 hectares’ property.

I spoke to the white farmer. He was about 45. He was quite depressed and said that at times he loses hope.
He has 700 cows and in Oct 24 there was a big drought and some cows were dying. No grass, little water and they were feeding them on grain. The Farmer said it happens regularly that he loses all his savings. The economic situation makes it worse.

Here is how at the farm they sell fresh milk, and they make some delicious yogurts. Recently he obtained permission to label and sell his yogurts at the supermarkets.

On the 3rd and last day, we visited the National Park Matobo which is where Cecil John Rhodes is buried. It is a beautiful place.

Otherwise, if one day you go to Zimbabwe, you can visit the famous Victoria Falls.

You can see the Falls from Zimbabwe and also from Zambia. I have only been on the Zambian side but share some of my brother; François’ pictures, who went on the Zim side. I also add a few photos of the rafting trip he did with a friend.

We now close our 2 chapters on Zimbabwe.
Next time, we will talk about the recent rain/floods we had in Namibia, as it is quite a rare phenomenon for us here.
