A stone man lying in the middle of the desert.

Good evening to each of you. Welcome back to our little blog on Namibia.

A couple of years ago, as we were travelling in the deserted Northwest of Namibia, I told Anton to stop the car and backtrack as I noticed something laying on the gravel sand.

And what an unusual discovery it was: A stone man lying in the middle of the desert.

We later found out that there may be 41 stone men.
They are scattered and blending perfectly with the deserted landscape, showing an air of secrecy, solitude, and presence.

Trevor Nott is the talented and secretive Artist, who is also a Sculptor in Omaruru.
We do not know him personally, but it would be nice to meet with him one day.
